Samuel Wuesten June 2023

The Switzerland/Dutch dancer and choreographer, Samuel Wuersten, joins with a renewed commitment to art training in the Netherlands. He was appointed to be a member of the Supervisory Board of the Hague University of Arts. After an extensive procedure, Samuel, artistic and general director of the Holland Dance Festival, is appointed as the new member of the supervisory board of the College of Arts Den Hague, the overall organization of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and the Royal Conservatory. As a member of the Supervisory Board, he is responsible for the portfolio of music and dance and joins the Education Committee, among other things. "Art education - and the way there - are the basis of the arts. In its realization, it is a complex and challenging, but at the same time infinitely inspiring process that is very close to his heart. Art education deserves all the attention and support you can imagine. Samuel is very honored that as a member of the Supervisory Board, he can contribute to the further development of this renowned Arts College in The Hague. "

There is a long friendship and cooperation between the Swiss choreographer Samuel Wuesten and the Pierino Ambrosoli Foundation. Be it as head in Bern of our 12 auditions for a dance scholarship at the Codarts in Rotterdam (NL) and as director of the School of Modern Dance, CODARTS, in Rotterdam. He also took part in the documentary "The Making of a Dream" by our president Daniela Ambrosoli. We congratulate Samuel and wish him much joy and success in his new challenge.
