Daniela
Marcacci Ambrosoli,
the daughter of
the German expressionist
dancer Sonja Bragowa
and the entrepreneur
Pierino Ambrosoli,
a native of Lombardy,
was born in Ascona,
a little fishing
town in the south
of Switzerland.
She
attended school
in Ascona and
Locarno, where
she earned the
Federal Type
B University
Entrance Qualification
Certificate.
This was followed
by a period of
university study
and work experience
in the fields
of psychology
and medicine
in Florence,
Zurich and Geneva.
With
the birth of her
first two children
and the premature
death of her father,
her life changed
dramatically.
DMA
trained in management
and took over some
of the firms created
by her father,
including Camping
Delta and Amministrazione
Immobiliare Ambrosoli
in Locarno; in
1999, she created
Travel & Culture
Management SA in
Zurich.
In
1977, her daughter
Shari was born;
from her earliest
childhood she displayed
a talent and passion
for dance.
In
1990, Daniela Marcacci
Ambrosoli founded
the Pierino Ambrosoli
Foundation in Zurich;
this foundation
supports the training
of young talents
in the field of
dance and music
throughout the
world.
In
the following years,
Daniela Marcacci
Ambrosoli sat on
the Boards of Directors
of numerous international
associations active
in the fields of
dance, music, and
the humanitarian
and social fields.
Daniela Marcacci
Ambrosoli, therefore,
often took cultural
and working trips
abroad.
Daniela
Marcacci Ambrosoli
speaks and writes
well in Italian
and German as her
mother tongue as
well as French,
English and Spanish. |
After
training as a Technical
Merchant, further
training in cultural
management, journalism
and in foreign
languages Michael
Jürgens became
the General Secretary
of the Pierino
Ambrosoli Foundation
in 1998.
Professional
ballet dancer,
trainer, assistant
to the choreographer
and to the director,
assistant to
the ballet director
are positions
of his long lasting
artistic career
at different
Swiss theatres
and abroad.
Guest
contracts as a
freelance dancer
at various theatres
and independent
stage projects,
teaching as docent
and coach of ballet
courses in Switzerland
and abroad, appearances
in TV- Productions
as well as numerous
study trips in
Europe, Japan,
South America and
the USA complete
his career.
He
received his training
as a professional
dancer at the Ballet
School of the Hamburg
Opera House John
Neumeier and in
Switzerland.
