als ich am vergangenen Abend vom Graham Training nach Hause kam, ahnte ich nicht, was für eine tolle Mail mich dort erwartete! Das Wohnzimmer war voll mit Freunden der Familie - allesamt in deutscher Fan-Montur.

Eigentlich schaltete ich meinen Computer eher aus Routine nebenbei an. Es ging beinahe unter, als ich in das bunte Getrubel im Raum völlig perplex sagte: "Ich habe ein Stipendium." Sicherlich können Sie sich vorstellen, dass die krachmachenden Fanartikel zweckentfremdet genutzt wurden. Wir haben sofort mit Sekt angestoßen.

Ich freue mich riesig, dass Sie sich bereit erklären, mich während meiner Ausbildung zu unterstützen! Ihre schnelle Antwort zeugt von Zuversicht und bestärkt mich sehr, dass meine Zukunftspläne realistisch und richtig sind. Mit Ihrer Entscheidung haben Sie der mir bevorstehende Herausforderung Nachdruck verliehen. Umso mehr möchte ich mein langersehntes Tanzstudium motiviert und verantwortungsvoll bewältigen. ...

At Codarts everything is going well. We went to Macedonia for the DANCE FEST in Skopie at the begining of april. It was a wonderful experience!!!!!! It gave me back all the energies I needed!!!!! We performed on a big stage at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet Theatre!!! Very very nice experience!!!!!! I was very happy!!!

... I wanted to deeply thank you for your help during three years of my study at Rotterdam Dance Academy. It is for me very rich experience, which helps me to develop me knowlages as a dancer and dance teacher. During the summer I will again teach on the summer dance courses in Czech republic and Slovakia. Endlich habe ich es geschafft Ihnen zu schreiben. Hier also meine neusten Fotos und ein kurzer Rückblick:
• Weihnachten 2005 arbeitete ich in Singapur beim "Swiss Circus Dream".
• Danach ging ich nach Venezuela - nicht als Artistin, sondern in einer Entwicklungshilfsorganisation (Benposta) . Das war ein sehr spannendes, lehrreiches, prägendes, lustiges aber auch trauriges Erlebnis.
• Den Sommer verbrachte an der Côte d’Azur, als Animateurin beim "Club Mediterranée" in Opio, wo ich ein Wunsch erfüllen konnte: Die Kunst des Flugtrapezes erlernen.
• Nun werde ich nochmals beim Club Med arbeiten. Diesmal in Punta Cana (Dom.Rep.)
Ich möchte mich bei Ihnen nochmals bedanken für Ihre damalige Unterstützung meiner Ausbildung und der daraus folgenden Laufbahn. Vielen Dank.
Ich wünsche Ihnen einen goldenen leuchtenden Herbst.

... We are extremely happy that Laurence has been accepted at the “Rotterdamse Dance Academy” after auditioning in Bern this weekend.
We followed the whole event closely and passed some stressful moments, but it all turned out well for her in the end.
I also want to congratulate you personally with the very professional way the audition was organised. I was really impressed. But, without doubt, this is the only way to get a good impression of the skills and the potential of the different candidates. Anyhow, it still all has to get organised and that would not be possible without the effort of motivated people like yourselves.

Dear Daniela Marcacci Ambrosoli, How are you ? I’m doing fine. Had a nice vacation in Belgium and now I’m already working for 1 month at Krisztina de Chatel. And I’m enjoying myself there.
It was really nice to meet you in June after the performance. I hope you enjoyed to see us dance. Michele Pogliani told me in June after we met that you liked the duet from “cyber queer lounge” that Jeroen and me danced and that you would like to have the DVD from it. I just got the DVD from this performance, and I will soon send you a copy of this DVD if you would like to receive it.
Other good news is that I got a stage contract from January till june 2009 at Scapino Ballet in Rotterdam. Ed Wubbe offered this after seeing me dance at the school performance. I’m very happy with this stage contract because Scapino Ballet is one of the companies I love, and where I would love to dance.
I’m really happy I can do a stage at Krisztina de Chatel and at Scapino Ballet, because these are 2 well know companies with a high level. I also want to deeply thank you again for offering me the study grant for the schoolyear 2008-2009 to pay my school money and help me to make my dreams as a dancer become true.
It is a big opportunity for me to have received a Study Grant by your Foundation and to accomplish my studies at Codarts and doing stage at those two great dance companies in Holland.
I hope I will see you soon again, maybe in one of my performances.
